The 2022 Canadian Folk Music Awards were held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, as they were supposed to be in 2020 and then in 2021. For the past two years, we were forced to deftly pivot to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe that the third time’s a charm are happy that we got to have the CFMAs live and in person in one of the most historic, graceful (and safe!) cities in Canada.

This year, the CFMAs are excited to return to live music after a two-year absence. CFMA events will be hosted in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Mar 31 through Apr 2. Both performers and organizers are excited to once again be connecting with audiences directly across a stage and online, and a mix of live and video performances will be presented. The showcases and Awards Concerts will take place at The Guild.
