2020 CANADIAN FOLK MUSIC AWARDS
ANNOUNCE ONLINE AWARDS SHOW
Live Stream CFMAs Sat Apr 4 at 7pm EDT

(HALIFAX, March 23) The 2020 Canadian Folk Music Awards (CFMAs) are moving their Awards celebration online this year, and will present all 20 Awards virtually, on Sat. Apr 4. The Awards were originally scheduled for the weekend of Apr 3-4 in Charlottetown, PEI, however, the CFMAs had to cancel the live shows and weekend celebrations due to COVID-19. This left the community, nominees, CFMA board, staff and fans wondering what the next step would be. We are delighted to share that the CFMAs will be presenting our awards show online Sat, Apr 4 at 7pm EDT via our facebook page and website.

This virtual CFMA Awards show will announce the recipients of the 2020 Canadian Folk Music Awards. Our bilingual hosts will review all the CFMA categories, nominees, and announce recipients, including the Unsung Hero Award Presentation, along with announcing where our 2021 event will take place.
